This week the Tertiary Education Commission confirmed a reversal of its decision to have a Deputy Chief Executive in its new structure, (which it had announced late last month). The Deputy Chief Executive role was to have specific responsibilities for their Māori tertiary education strategy, and managing relationships with Māori.
