Statistics New Zealand released household labour force data outlining employment trends. In terms of the new data released, unlike non-Māori, the Māori unemployment rate rose last quarter, and is now 7%: i.e. circa 30,000 tangata Māori registered as unemployed and seeking work. But this measure does not capture part-time workers
