Prime Minister Hipkins has announced that the Cabinet had determined to raise the minimum wage to $22.70 per hour (which will commence from 1 April). This $1.50 per hour increase equates to $60 per week, adding up to $908 per week in wages for a full-time worker (on 40 hours).
