After the leaked release of a draft Cabinet paper on ACT’s proposed Treaty Principles Bill (Pānui 1/2024 details), last week the Prime Minister, Chris Luxon, moved responsibility for the bill directly to ACT party leader David Seymour, making Mr Seymour an Associate Minister of Justice with responsibility for the bill.
