The first reading of the Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Bill was completed in Parliament and referred to the Pae Ora Select Committee. Once enacted this bill will enable the Government to replace the 20 District Health Boards with Health New Zealand and establish an independent Māori Health Authority to work
