Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu will receive $25.9m of Oranga Tamariki funding to deliver the Whānau as First Navigators programme. Whānau as First Navigators aims to improve outcomes for tamariki (in Ngāi Tahu takiwā) by focusing on tamariki and their whānau.
