Baden Barber (Ngāti Kahungunu) has been elected Chairman of Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi. Outgoing Chair, Ngahiwi Tomoana, had held the Chairperson role since 1997. Bailey Mackey (Ngāti Porou, Tūhoe, Rongowhakaata), and Jim Mathers (Ngāti Awa, Tūhoe) has been appointed to the Public Media entity Establishment Board.
