On Wednesday the Canterbury Regional Council (Ngāti Tahu Representation) Bill passed its third reading in Parliament (77 to 43), and so will now become law upon the issuing of Royal Assent.[1] The incoming law allows Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu to appoint up to two members to the Canterbury Regional
