The Māori Party has announced a shortlist of three names from which it will select a candidate to contest a by-election in Te Tai Tokerau. The Maori Party will choose from either: Waihoroi Shortland, Solomon Tipene or lawyer Mere Mangu. The successful candidate will be announced on Wednesday.
