On Wednesday the Race Relations Commissioner, Joris de Bres, released his office’s annual ‘Review of Race Relations in New Zealand – Tūi, Tūi, Tuituiā.[1] The 2011 review is an extensive 114 pages, with chapters five (Treaty of Waitangi) and six (inequalities) containing the most pertinent information on Māori policy matters.
