The first reading for the Ngāti Tara Tokanui Claims Settlement Bill has been completed in Parliament. The redress package includes financial and commercial redress of circa $6 million and the return of seven sites of cultural significance alongside two sites jointly with Hako and Ngāti Tamaterā.
