Last week Pānui provided an update and assessment of the Government’s proposed repeal to Section 7AA of the Oranga Tamariki Act. This is the section of law that imposes specific Tiriti based obligations on that ministry, including forming strategic partnerships with Māori and reporting on outcomes for tamariki Māori.
